Lampada Global - Tell us a little about your experience.

André Lopes - I work as a programmer of 14 years, having started my apprenticeship in the first year of college. I have always worked on challenging projects and I always highlighted front of more experienced developers. With SugarCRM and PHP I work four years and since the second half of 2007 I decided to become a reference in SugarCRM Development.

LG - How is your performance in SugarCRM forums?

AL - I serve as moderator of four SugarCRM Forums (Help, Help Developer, Developer Tutorial and Portuguese), where I try to answer as many questions as possible of technical nature in order to enhance my own name, as a mark on the universe SugarCRM, the andopes, and the name of Lampada Global. Also, you need to censor users with bad intentions (spammers), warn users who post messages without value and encourage well-intentioned users. My interaction with the Forum takes approximately one hour per day.

LG - What will your participation in the event SugarCon 2010?

AL - will be a Roundtable on "How to Extend SugarCRM." In this Roundtable I'll be the only participant not Own Employee SugarCRM.Os participants of this Roundtable will answer questions from the audience.

LG - How is for you to attend this great event?

AL - It's been a reason for great expectations by several factors: will be my first international trip, have an obligation to communicate in English full time, which will be very good for me, many organizers and participants of the event are interested in knowing me and know they have great expectations about me. I feel a great responsibility to meet these expectations.

LG - You have two great things in Lampada Global - SugarCRM is not it?

AL - Yes. I have the Hero Award, which is a title acquired automatically when reaching the milestone of 500 posts in the forums of SugarCRM. At the time it was a very exciting achievement and I received many congratulations for this achievement. The title "Project of the Month" (June/2009) certainly is the title I'm most proud of. Developed the "Development Tool Kit" as an attempt to avoid the constant re-implementations of similar functionality (Design Patterns) and I did not expect such good feedback and so little time! The award was given one month after the launch of the Project and the volume of downloads is that size at one year the Project shall be on the list of 70 most downloaded projects of all time.

LG - How do you define the relationship between SugarCRM and Lampada Global today?

AL - I can say that Lampada Global occupies a prominent position among the Partners as one of SugarCRM Gold Partners and to be represented by two very influential members in the Forum (and dtokeefe andopes). I also know that Lampada Global is one of the most respected partners in the development requirement as SugarCRM, which motivates us to provide SugarCRM Leads many who yearn for such services.
